Roll over for more.

Jake loves coming to work in the mornings. That sofa, it's his to snooze on between walks, isn't it?

Spike is the agency rodent controller. He likes his job and the brief friendships it provides.

Ian founded Hive after pressure from several clients made it clear they were open to a new alternative, bringing all the benefits of top talent without the costs attached to traditional agency structures. Having previously headed the largest account group at one of Europe’s top B2B agencies, Ian knows the importance of integrating skills from different areas to create perfect teams. And knows the people to make it happen.

John has won many awards for art direction. His experience includes several large business-focused agencies. He has worked on many diverse accounts, from animal health to telecoms. As a skilled photographer and Mac user, John believes in a ‘hands on’ approach to creative work.

Jonathan has won numerous creative awards throughout his career and has worked across a wide range of sectors. As a senior copywriter at one of Europe’s leading specialist B2B agencies, he helped develop and integrate its interactive capability. He also has consumer-agency experience, as well as a background in marketing and product management for major US multinationals.

Sheena runs her own media agency (and very much our media department) with firm, objective planning and buying, whilst building strong relationships with the media our clients so often depend upon (and those they don’t). Puzzled reps often say “no-one ever asks us the tough things you do!” and then pull out the stops to deliver. Sheena has experience across all key business markets in the UK and internationally.

Joe specialises in interactive design and production. Trained as a storyboard artist, Joe is still actively involved in video production.

Clive set up the first in-house studio for a top five London agency, turning what was a cost into a profit centre. Unlike most Mac-based studio professionals, Clive originally trained as a typographer. Equally at home with large brochures or ‘image’ advertising, Clive secured a D&AD mention for a Club 18–30 campaign.

Deborah is very much part of Hive, having designed our visual identity and distinctive, practical design solutions for several clients. Deborah specialises in visual identities to create or relaunch brands that decide to attune themselves to market need.

Despite being chairman of a large London research company, Dave is our market research expert, when we’re either creating new brands or tracking the progress of existing ones. Dave has worked with us for many years, helping establish what clients’ markets think, feel and want – and helping us ensure we engineer the closest product and communications fit.

Judith founded her own PR company with Lizzie Woolley after being a director of a large PR agency, in order to get back to what she enjoys doing – devising PR strategy and writing work that gets published.

Lizzie created her own PR company with Judith Thompson, both having worked in several large and expensive agencies. Lizzie can sell coals to Newcastle and routinely doubles the interactions between clients and their core media.

Belinda’s experience in business psychology allows us to bring a fresh perspective to internal communications and corporate change programmes. She also runs her own HR consultancy that specialises in the advertising & marketing business and has been a judge in the Personnel Today awards.

Sandra is an unswerving advocate of good sales practice. She believes passionately that good selling makes the crucial difference for a company’s greater success. Heading up both SalesNet and SalesNet Training, she transmits her beliefs to staff and clients alike, moving them into good sales practice in order to produce excellent results.

As company secretary, Louise keeps the admin running smoothly, so it doesn’t interfere with what we’re here to think about – promoting our clients’ businesses.

Roy is our head of events and has a very hands-on approach to supplying graphics solutions, specifying and sourcing entire exhibition stands and making sure everything is in place. Roy is also deeply involved in staging and recording Cancer Research UK's Race for Life.

Vicki is our print manager. She doesn't just get things printed, but looks at how to get the most out of a sheet or out of Royal Mail cost breaks, or simply to make campaigns work harder. In a world fixated on cheapness, she thinks quality is rather nice too.
